” It was a special Christmas for Betty Gartly and her three grandchildren this holiday.
Their story starts a few days ago when Betty went to the Key Bank in Canandaguia. It was a cold and snowy day so the bank teller, Kristin Broomfield, offered to give her a ride home.
‘My path crossed with Betty just like it was supposed to,’ said Kristen. Betty said she was shocked to see such generosity from a stranger. But, it doesn’t stop there. Betty was living in a house with very minimal furniture and belongings. Kristin took notice and wanted to help.”
