This Airline Is Testing Coffee Cups That You Can Eat

Good News Notes:

“A cup of coffee paired with a sweet pastry is one of life’s simplest joys. In an effort to give that experience an all-in-one type of deal, Air New Zealand is testing vanilla-flavored, edible coffee cups.

The airline has already made eco-friendly efforts with the implementation of its plant-based coffee cups. Now, it wants to take it one step further. In collaboration with New Zealand-based company Twiice, the airline is rolling out cups made from wheat flour, sugar, egg, vanilla essence, and natural vanilla flavor. The cups can withstand the heat of coffee without melting, so you don’t have to worry about leaks.”

“Essentially, these are like ice cream cones but without any of the sogginess or dripping. You can take a few sips of coffee, and bite into your biscotti cup as you please. What a pleasure!”
