Dog rescued from Montana Vista quarry by sheriff’s deputies and firefighters

“El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies are raising money to pay the veterinarian bills of a dog that was rescued from a rock quarry in Montana Vista. Officials said Wednesday they are also looking for a good home for the saved canine.

The Sheriff’s Office said the dog had been trapped at the Rock Quarry on O’Leary Road for at least three days when deputies and Montana Vista firefighters were finally able to rescue it from a cliff on Tuesday.”
