“An 11-year-old girl was able to save her family from an apartment fire by calling 911.
Police were called to a fire in progress at an apartment complex on Southard around 1:30 a.m. on Friday.
The 11-year-old advised crews that the residence was filled with smoke and she, her mother and her siblings, ages two and three, couldn’t get out.”
