ETSU professor starts nonprofit for homeless young adults

“An ETSU professor is starting a nonprofit to help homeless young adults get on their feet. Huschka House will give 18 to 24 year olds a temporary place to stay and a boost to find work, education and their own place.

Social work professor Donna Cherry came up with the idea as a way to help kids who have aged out of foster care, but she decided to expand the concept.”
