Foundation finds book clubs therapeutic for kids who stutter

According to the National Institute of Health, stuttering affects millions of Americans, including children. Although it’s an unsettling time The Stuttering Foundation is encouraging families to start book clubs this summer.

The idea is to help parents and kids establish an at-home routine and to keep them reading. With stress being a common trigger, President of The Stuttering Foundation, Jane Fraser, said book clubs can be a great therapeutic outlet.”
