Program helps residents harness solar energy in Ann Arbor

Ann Arbor residents have been saving thousands of dollars by switching over to solar energy with a recently launched city program.

The Solarize Ann Arbor program launched a pilot back in November of 2019, installing 300 kilowatts of solar power in about 50 households since, said Sustainability and Innovations Manager Missy Stults. This program is part of the city’s A2ZERO project and is meant to provide incentives for solar power through installation discounts.”
