“Seattle is allocating $13 million from a grant from the Washington State Department of Commerce to help people experiencing homelessness during the coronavirus pandemic.
The funds, from the Washington State Department of Commerce COVID-19 Emergency Housing Grant, will go toward a number of resources in the city, including sustaining hygiene services, reducing crowding in shelters and supporting permanent supportive housing programs, the city said in a news release.”
