Richmond Avenue gets a sculpture show – including a bunny

Good News Notes:

The Richmond Strip used to be known for its nightlife, and no one seemed to care much about what it looked like during daylight.

That has changed.

Three sculptures on the median between Chimney Rock and South Rice represent Phase I of the Richmond Avenue Public Art Project. They’re part of a larger beautification effort by the St. George Place Redevelopment Authority/TIRZ1.

Gus Kopriva, the force behind the outdoor sculpture shows along Heights Blvd. and Long Point Road, is curating the shows, which will rotate every nine months to comply with city codes.”
