Seeds of Hope on new journey of healing focused on giving back

Good News Notes:

The sunflowers planted by an area nonprofit are sky high and in full bloom this year.

Seeds of Hope was started by the family of Babbette Jaquish. She passed away in 2014 after a long battle with cancer.

Each year, her memory is kept alive through sunflowers.

This year, the Eau Claire community foundation is taking over fundraising events for seeds of hope.

The field of sunflowers is also in memory of Tracy Curtis who recently passed away from multiple myeloma, the same cancer Babbette battled.

Moving forward, Babbette’s daughter Jennifer white says seeds of hope would like to offer healing by planting fields and donating funds in memory of lost loved ones.

Jennifer White said, “It brings people together, lets them tell their story and that’s kind of the new direction we’re going in.”

They start with this beautiful life and they have all this ray of sunshine and then they go through their life cycle….”
