“A former U.S. Army sergeant and his family have been given the keys to a new home in Goldfield.

Michael Hulsey, a Purple Heart recipient, was gifted a mortgage-free house. The house was a donation from Wells Fargo to the Military Warriors Support FoundationHomes 4 Wounded Heroes program.

Wells Fargo has donated more than 400 homes to veterans since 2012.

Hulsey joined the Army in 2001 to follow in his family’s footsteps. He was deployed three times – once to Afghanistan and twice to Iraq. Hulsey was wounded in action in Iraq while supporting combat operations….”
