Kentucky teacher carries student who uses wheelchair through wildlife conservation area so she can attend field trip

Good News Notes:

Students at Tully Elementary school in Jeffersontown, Kentucky had a field trip planned for The Falls of Ohio State Park.

One of the students has Spina Bifida which limits her mobility and would make it impossible for her, with or without her wheelchair, to manage the terrain so her mom was planning an alternative field trip for her.

Then, one of the teachers, though not hers, offered to simply carry her through the park to allow her to experience it like her peers.  He then went on to shoulder a specially fitted backpack and do just that, giving her a rare opportunity to go on an excursion without her mother.
