“Spokane firefighters rescued a woman from the chilly Spokane River near the Maple Street Bridge early Tuesday afternoon.
The Spokane Fire Department responded to the bridge just after noon for a water rescue, according to dispatch records. Spokane police officers reported a woman in her 20s was in the river, about 25 feet from the south bank.”
