Random acts of kindness through Christmas Jars –

Good News Notes:

A Charlottesville native is spreading joy during the holiday season with random acts of kindness.

‘Fifteen years, my family and I experimented with a little jar on the counter that we fill up with spare change. During the holidays, we picked a family to give it away to anonymously. We had no idea that would lead to a worldwide movement,’ Jason Wright said.

Wright, a New York Times best selling author and a Charlottesville native, says his random acts of kindness started in 2005 and has now expanded around the world.

‘Thousands of people in the world, including right here in Charlottesville, have jars on their counter ready to give away anonymously in a couple of weeks,’ he said.

He plans to give out several Christmas jars this holiday season.

‘We’ve already given one away this year and we have several more to give away. People can visit

ChristmasJars.com and read real miracles from people around the world who have received one of these jars anonymously and it changes lives,’ said Wright.”
