“A new mobile adoption unit by the Texas Humane Heroes Adoption Center is coming to a location near you soon, the agency announced Wednesday.
It’s called P.A.W (Pet Adoptions on Wheels) and it will travel to various locations throughout Central Texas with 20+ cats and dogs who are looking to find a new home.
This idea will help increase animal adoptions in the Austin-Travis area.
The Texas Humane Heroes says this unit will provide a different, but more personal, opportunity to showcase the pets up for adoption. People will be able to see the pets through windows, have meet-and-greets, process adoptions on-site, and take an animal home….”
