Jean’s Angels nonprofit unveils laundry truck for homeless people

Good News Notes:

“A group of “angels” are taking their fight to help the Tri-county homeless to the streets via a mobile trailer.

Today, the non-profit “Jean’s Angels” unveiled their new laundry truck. 

It has four washer and dryer units, and will be brought to spots where the area’s homeless are known to gather, giving folks in need a chance to clean their clothes. 

Clothes which may have been donated.

“Being able to have new clothes and not have a hot shower, or being able to get a haircut. They still don’t feel part of society. So, we listened. We created this trailer, so we are able to wash their clothes,” said Katrina Carpenter, founder and executive director of Jean’s Angels….”
