 Good News Notes:

This week, Connecticut hospitals will receive lunches from local restaurants — thanks to a Grammy-winning musical artist. Meghan Trainor, a singer/songwriter whose hits include ‘All About That Bass’ and ‘Lips Are Movin,’ is donating funds to feed health care workers at hospitals in greater Hartford, in conjunction with local restaurants.

Trainor was a guest on  96.5 WTIC’s ‘Christine & Salt’ morning show Monday, speaking with radio personalities Christine Lee and Ryan ‘Salt’ MacMillan about her work with Feeding America, for which she is fundraising through a series of “Live From Home”performances. Trainor added that she’ll also be pledging money for Connecticut restaurants to bring 50 lunches per day to local hospitals for five days.”
